The first event of the eGolf Tour is underway and we wish everybody the best of luck for the best season yet. We’re back at the Els Club and the course is in excellent condition to test our players games to the max.
After Round 1 we saw first time eGolf Tour player John Ross Galbraith and Scotsman Scott Henry both lead the way with an impressive 67, closely followed by LIV Tour player Adrian Meronk with a -4, 68. It’s great to see our regular playing pro’s, Canada’s Aaron Cockerill and USA’s Cole Madey join us again for another year on the tour and we’re delighted to welcome them back.
Round 2 saw Adrian Meronk shoot to the top of the leaderboard with a near course record of 62, Shiv Kapur currently holds the eGolf Tour Course Record at an incredible 61. An exceptional round including a bogey on the card too took Meronk to a total -14 securing the title for the season opener of the tour. Galbraith scoring a steady -5 claimed him second place with a total of -9 for week 1, a great start to his first eGolf Tour event.
