Back at the Els Club for Week 5 of the eGolf 2023/2024 Tour, Ireland’s Gary Hurley, Scotland’s Scott Henry and Sweden’s Christofer Rahm make their season debut. Despite a spectacular 10 under par 62 earlier in the week’s Tuesday competition, former UAE resident Rahm couldn’t maintain his momentum, carding a first-round 71, trailing joint leaders Joel Stalter and Scott Henry by 2.
The second round witnessed Hurley’s impressive performance as he distanced himself from the competition following a spectacular front 9, finishing with a second-round total of four under par 68. Holding off Henry by two shots, he secured a six-under total over the two rounds. His victory launched him into an early second place in the Order of Merit, with much of the season remaining for Hurley to chase down the leader, France’s Gary Stal, in the 2023/2024 eGolf Tour.
