Another week, another round at the purest course in Abu Dhabi, Yas Links. We continue to thank the team at Yas for allowing us to play here and supporting all of our players with the best hospitality.
Week 13 brought Georgia Hall back to eGolf Tour to try and defend last weeks title, her first time playing at Yas Links and Hall shot a 5 under par which is incredible considering she had never played the course before, it just shows how talented these players are being able to adapt their game to these different courses and especially the undulating green of Yas Links running at a slick 13.7 of the stimp meter. These greens were no problem for Meronk as he shot the easiest looking 62 we had ever seen. Missing his birdie putt on 18 by millimetres to tie the course record, Adrian Meronk of Poland but on an absolute masterclass of golf and set him up perfectly for his season ahead with the Cleeks playing on LIV.
Meronk continues to WOW everyone with a round 2 score of 8 under par at The Els Club to take him to one of our lowest scoring combined rounds of -18. Hats off to Meronk for the spectacular display. Hall posted a -2 taking second place, Brun in 3rd shooting 1 under and eGolf Tour and Lion’s Den first timer Dan Magee of England taking 4th.
