J.Lindeberg Thursdays – is a net stroke game with amateurs handicap 5 or less in the field. The entry fees from all Professionals and Amateurs are contributed into the winner’s pot and divided among the top 3 low net scores.
The Lion’s Den Fridays – is a net skins game with amateurs handicap 5 or less in the field with all entry fees going into the winner’s prize pool.
eGolf Tour – (Thursday & Friday) – The eGolf Tour is a gross 2-day tournament among the entrants, with 100% of the entry fees contributed to the winner’s pot that is divided among the leading gross scores as follows:
The eGolf Tour will operate an order of merit series for the professionals only which commences from the season opening event to closing event in February 2024. The season money leaders (top 3) of the 2023-2024 season will get bonus winnings as follows:
1st – AED 35,000
2nd – AED 10,000
3rd – AED 5,000
The Order of Merit points system is determined by earnings in each event. AED 1 earned is equal to 1 Order of Merit points. For example, if a player earns AED 2,000 from a first, second or third place in any eGolf Tour event, he or she will be awarded 2,000 Order of Merit points from that event.
All event entry/withdrawal deadlines are 2 days prior to the first round of the event at 7pm. Any entries placed after the deadline are subject to approval of the committee.
Withdrawals will be accepted for any reason when notice is given prior to the deadline, 48 hours prior to an event.
Round 1 tee times will be released 24 hours prior to the first day of each event. Once they have been released and posted.
Maximum field size for each tournament will average 40 players including amateurs that play in the Lindeberg Thursday and Den games. Half of the field is reserved to professionals thus limiting each event to 20 professionals. If an event becomes full a waiting list will be started. Players will be placed on the list in the order in which their entry is received. If a spot becomes available players will be contacted in wait list order starting with the 1st alternate, should that player not answer we will continue down the wait list until a player has been reached and the open spot has been filled.
Pairings and Tee Times will be made available by 7 pm 24 hours prior to a tournament. Pairings will be done at random. Attempts will be made to honor all tee time requests for the first round, however no guarantees can be made.
All event tournament rules will be found attached the scorecard for each event.
There will be no cut for eGolf Tour. Players will play 36 holes in each event of the Order of Merit.
If 2 or more players are tied for first, second or third place after the conclusion of the second round, there will be no play off or count back system to split ties. Players will be [collect winnings] and accrue Order of Merit points equally on a split basis.
